Zoeva Rose Golden Brush Set Vol. 2 // Review
My cold black heart sings a little when I have the chance to dabble into my savings to purchase....necessary... products. Like these rose gold Zoeva brushes. duh.
The main reason I was in the market for new additions to my collection was that I found that I was starting to cross my personal and freelance brushes together which can be a rookie move so here I am! Finding excuses to buy pretty shiny things, ohhh baby is this my favourite pastime.

Recent Reads
I honestly think my worst habit is reading a few books simultaneously. I'm not exaggerating when I say I've probably read about 1/10 of my book collection, oopsies. I think someone needs to stop going to Dymocks during their lunch break. Nevertheless, here are three books I've enjoyed recently.

July Goals
I think it's time to finally put my goals into writing. I'm the type of person that would deny that I even set a goal in the first place if someone asked for an update. Haha. I'm terrified. Can't you tell? If you come back to find this post later on and it has mysteriously disappeared I'm sure you'll know what happened. Srry.
Since I just moved to The Gold Coast in May I'm still very much infatuated with the impractical idea of 'oh i'll lose 5kg, start a blog and get my life together' phase. So of course that's exactly what I want to do. Hopefully one day when I have a 'summer body' I can finally take those cringey beach selfies. ohhh yeahhh, that's the dream.

The Best New Luxury Fragrance: Black Opium Review ♡
Have you ever woken up in the morning and just had the urge to rock the 'I may wear cute pastel clothes although I will blind you if you touch me without asking' look? Me too. The new Yves Saint Laurent perfume Black Opium reminds me exactly of this. Despite having the initial sweet vanilla jasmine notes, you soon after get a hit of a mild coffee aroma. It may sound like the two would clash, but they honestly are a match made it heaven. Other notes include pear, pink pepper, orange blossum, cedar and patchouli. I especially liked that it deepens on the skin as well, I think that this gives it a certain quality to it.

New years resolution and goals! (2014)
Happy new year! I cannot believe how fast 2013 went for me. Honestly, thank goodness it did because year 12 was a hell of bloody grade, especially in a new state. Since I haven't updated my blog with what's happening lately (because I've been a silly and unorganized wannabe blogger), I'll post a catch up post soon. Although 2013 was a difficult year it did have some unforgettable moments. Travelling to Europe will forever be remembered as the most surreal experience of my life. I mean like everything that looked remotely European had to be either photographed, touched or bought. 2013 also allowed me to meet so many great people that helped me grow into a better person.
So, as the title may suggest, I've decided to note down my new years resolutions and goals of 2014. I think it's important for me to do this to allow myself to see what I want to impsrove or begin clearly, rather than taking a mental note of a goal which is easily breakable. Nevertheless, these are some small and some difficult goals;
